As I mentioned in my previous post, I decided to create a profile using a pseudonym for the purpose of these exercises. Therefore, I really didn't see any point in asking anyone to be my friend, even NTRLS, since I'm not truly representing myself. I'd like to reserve the ability to do that at some later time should I decide to create a "real" Facebook profile. I did, however, do a tremendous amount of searching and was truly amazed at how many people, that I already knew in Facebook. High school classmates, frat brothers from college, sorors from college, you name it. What really blew my mind was how many family members I was able to find with a Facebook page. Now, I'm seriously considering using Facebook as a way to keep in touch with family across the U.S.
